Child's Pose
Balasana
Child's Pose is a resting fold with the knees bent, hips settling toward the heels, and forehead resting on the floor. It gently stretches the lower back and hips while calming the nervous system, making it a natural place to pause and rest. The breath moves into the back of the body as the pose releases tension.
